Carolyn Paul has over 35 years of broad experience in the communications sector from journalism to public relations and from consumer brands to prescription pharmaceuticals. Carolyn’s expertise in the healthcare arena spans almost every sector including launching revolutionary pharmaceutical products from Alka-Seltzer to Zyvox and directing communications for organisations as diverse as Alzheimers Disease International and Unilever. Her work has touched upon numerous areas including women’s health, cardiovascular disease, CNS disorders (including depression and Parkinson’s disease), vaccines, HIV/AIDS, infectious disease, osteoporosis, Alzheimer’s Disease, allergy, immunology, oncology, rheumatology, respiratory and diagnostics.
At Edelman, Carolyn has particular responsibility for the development of global strategy, providing high level consultancy to senior clients and perfecting the design and execution of integrated global communications marketing campaigns, for clients who operate in multiple markets and regions around the world. Increasingly this involves creating campaigns which target the consumer as well as healthcare professionals, policy makers and payers.
